"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer" - Romans 12:12
These are very encouraging words indeed. When things are not going according to expectations, applying these words to our lives can bring about refreshing experiences. Hope in God and in his promises can elicit joy in us. Remaining patient while undergoing affliction and persecution can strengthen our resolves to endure.
Finally, remaining unwavering in prayer in the mist of trials and difficulties will enable us to meri God's approval. Once again, when challenges come our way let's always be resolved to: "be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer"
