i can’t explain what happened
it’s beyond words
and my vocabulary is limited
and my sight is short
and there are a million things i wish to say
and want to do and make you see
still,
standing next to you
shoulders touching
seemed to communicate all these things
at once.
maybe one day i’ll find the words
i’ll write them down
and they will be beautiful.
