Tonight I want to post about the national music day.
The determination of every 9th of March to become the national music day in Indonesia passed through Presidential Decree (Keppres) No. 10 of 2013.
Is the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono who became the figure behind the determination on March 9, 2013.
the history of the national music day in Indonesia is taken from the date of birth of the National Hero who is the creator of the national anthem "Indonesia Raya", Wage Rudolf Soepratman.

the establishment of National Music Day celebration itself is music is a universal cultural expression that represents the noble and humanitarian values that have a strategic role to promote national development.
by commemorating the national music day is expected the people of Indonesia will prefer the work produced by Indonesian musicians as well as instruments and musical heritage of the nation.
