Hello, my fellow minnows and veterans of the "game"
This could be a sensitive topic for some Steemians, maybe I'm wrong... Maybe I'm just going over board with it but what the heck... I'll give it a try!
So obviously all of us are familiar with the "follow per follow" game, and some think its cool other ones think it's not. I think it's not cool. For Steemit.com to become some child's game. I understand the minnow mindset going into it. I really do. I already spoke about it, and I think these first days or weeks are super important for you "general" reputation in the community. That number stuck in your account, tho it looks cool, one can still be " 
Yeah, I said it!
These first weeks will show a lot, most minnows do all the wrong things I guess. They see huge $ on a post of veterans and they see a bunch of followers. All they do is go on a "copy/paste" rampage and go in the "1Follower/10Following" mode.
NOT GOOD!
After they make their "following", start posting the shortest f&%&%$% post with 1% value to the community. A few days are in denial about it, how is this possible? I only have 0.03$ on my post?!?!

Yeah, all this happens after only a week or so, people remember stuff...

Okay, "new" game is on!
But before that just a few words how the idea for this post was born. I guess we all have our different ways or opinions on, who and why would one follow them.

"What just happened here?"
My way is usually random post browsing and I also like to check some other stuff from the author I wanna follow, just in case. Obv, reputation helps make that decision easier.
BUT I DO give a chance to every cool person I meet in the comment section if I do not have the time to check on them ASAP... That being said, I have a list of people who I recently followed up and try to check on them in the future days.
Some are happy about it, and they follow back. I appreciate it, people, I really do. But that is NOT MY POINT!
As I go through the list a find myself in a weird position sometimes. Seein the person who I had a cool chat with just might not be the person I need in my feed.
Might be a cool author who brings fresh and useful stuff to the community and much love and huge props for that! On the other hand:
If everybody followed everybody, how would that look like?
Is it fair for me to follow someone who brings things to the table that I'm just not into?
Not, in my opinion.
We should curate among "us", by that I mean you should curate to authors who are on your daily "menu" plus find yourself new ones who will bring new enlightenment and joy to your life and everyday tasks. Or whatever are you looking for of course!

Actually is not even a game "Ha Ha", it is a combination of psychology and philosophy plus "nothing else special".

All I do is post cool comments and upvote LOL
The last one is just self-promotion "Ha Ha".
Again why?
If you follow me and you "enjoy" my daily blogs and stuff or at least you check them out, why is the reason ME UNfollowing you for you to UNfollow me?
Are you a mad, "envy", hypocrite person who will not let another person succeed or at least try not to be a part of it? I dunno, and you do not know, maybe I'm the next big thing "Ha Ha" and my vote will be Whale-size one day and make you 🚀into the sky

Everybody, work hard on your posts and you will definitely find your circle of people who will enjoy it. AND PLEASE do not hate on me if I'm not one of those people. I try to support Steemit.com and will promote it in the best possible way and with that I in many ways help you as well, right?

For all the folks/trolls out there
Listen, let your cool post speak for you, or your cool comment also. Do not take a glance at the other person post and just type some short "topic" related stuff.(SOMETIMES short is the best:) Read and comment on things that got you going or something, I dunno. Following will come, it just takes some time! I sometimes pick into Whale🐳wallets and I see tons of "begging" for an upvote, you will not buy a Whale for cents...
