I picked up a bundle of games and Skylanders figures recently, and I jumped at it due to it being a really good deal.
The place I tend to buy stuff is Adverts, and just after putting in an offer and talking with the seller to organise collecting it, someone else placed an offer, so I managed to buy it just in time.
Here are the games, and they are all in great condition.
Some of them don't have their manuals, but a portion of them do, and all of the discs are in good condition, which is the most important thing.
There are a couple I already have, so I'll be listing those ones up to recoup some of the money I spent on this lot.
This is one that I've really wanted to play again.
It's not an overly expensive game, due to how common it would be. Because it is fairly common, I decided to just wait until I picked it up as part of a collection, and now that time has come.
I always loved the LBP games, and they're a lot of fun, especially when playing two-player.
This one is the most valuable from the lot.
It sells at CEX for about €45, and that has had me curious about it.
I'm assuming it's valuable because it didn't sell many copies back in the day, due to it being bad, or maybe it didn't sell many copies back in the day, due to people assuming it was bad.
I remember having a certain amount of distrust for movie tie-in games back then, and I think that was common across the board.
Looking up some reviews of it would help me get to the bottom of it, but I want to go into it blind and try it for myself without having any prior knowledge.
This game would be the second most valuable, priced on CEX for about €22
Ratchet and Clank is a game series I was always aware of as a kid; however, my only time playing one of them was at a friend's house, and I loved it.
Regardless of how much fun I had playing it, I never actually owned a copy. Now, I own nearly all of them for PS2 and have been really enjoying playing them (when I get a chance)
Here are the Skylanders I got too.
Skylanders is a series I never got into, so with these, I'll be able to check it out.
All I really know about it is that you can get these figures, put them on a portal and import them into your game, and then play as that character and access new levels or something.
It is a really cool concept, and I'm looking forward to checking it out.
I looked these figures up, and the majority sell for about €1 each in CEX, but some go for €5 or €8 each, so that's pretty cool.
We've bought Kaleb a few of these figures, here and there, so if I'm not that into the game, I'll just give them to him.
