It has become a weekly ritual to go to a local car boot sale, which takes place every Saturday, not far from where we live.
Myself, Aimee's dad, Kaleb and Ollie usually go on these little adventures. Kaleb loves going out there, and it's a great way to spend a few hours walking in the morning sun and fresh air.
Here is my most recent pickup.
There was a guy who had a stack of games, mainly PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3. I flicked through them, asked about the price, and he replied €3 each.
I picked out these ones and checked the discs, which were in great condition. As well as that, all of the games came with their manuals.
This is one I bought for myself.
I have wanted to play Resistance for a long time. I used to own a copy of it back in the day, and traded it, and pretty much all of my PlayStation 3 games in to buy Halo: Reach when that released.
This is set in the 1940s/ 1950s, post World War II, but there is a planet-wide alien invasion, so you have to fight to save Humanity and find out who the aliens are and what they want.
That's essentially all I remember from it, but it was good as far as I can recall, and people seemed to enjoy as 2 more games were released after this one.
This is another game I used to have back in the day.
This was my first entry into the God of War games back then, and I really enjoyed it, but I don't think I ever completed it.
I never got into the PlayStation 3 in a big way when I was younger, because all of my friends and clans were on the Xbox 360, which kept me on that console.
PlayStation to me was always more of a single-player console, which was fine. But, back then, I preferred multiplayer and the social aspect of gaming.
Now, though, I spend some time on single-player games, playing 1-2 hours here and there in the evenings when everyone is asleep.
Even if I wanted to reconnect with some old friends and get some sessions in, I couldn't, because I can't speak properly while Aimee and Ollie are asleep beside me.
I've never played Kingdom Hearts, so I though these would be a good chance to have a go at them.
I owned the first 2 on the PlayStation 2 and had the intention of playing them, as I've heard they are decent games. However, they sold before I got a chance, which is a shame, but it is what it is.
In fact, that has happened a bunch of times to me with games. So, what I do now is list some games higher than the average price, so I have more time to play them.
