These are a glimpse into last year's amazing Electric Forest Festival in Rothbury, Michigan. This is a bird's altar space. All these pics are from set up before the festival starts, quiet and calm.
Every summer I get to partake in the operations of this amazing art and music festival. These are a few shots I took before the rains and festival started. It has grown so much that this will be the second year of a two weekend show.
These pictures below are an installation by an amazing artist out of Chicago, the elephant has thousands of pieces of hand cut wood overlaid as you can see this took months upon months to create! Set in betwixt a peaceful cedar forest this giant Ganesha was stunning and especially at night with all the lasers and light shows in the trees at night.

There are so many amazing painters here. Many painters are painting during the day and even at night during live concerts, these are some of the creations..
This area of the festival is called Sherwood Forest and has lots of live art and music from several different stages.
