Could eating on the run bad for your health? Studies have shown that eating on the go can have unwanted and unexpected consequences.
Eating on the go can some times be necessary and unfortunately many of us have eaten on the run without thinking it could be potentially harmful.
Eating to fast is a big factor here, we are taking bites of food at such a fast rate that our bodies can't handle it. Eating with speed can distract us from many things, are bodies are designed to take care of us and we refuse t let it. We can easily get distracted from the eating process, leaving us unaware of what we are even eating.
There are some studies that show eating on the run can lead to our body not registering how much food we require to be full, leading us to feel as if we did not even eat and making us want to eat more.
Not only that but we also lose the ability to fully enjoy the food, by eating fast we do not taste are food as well as we do eating at a slower pace. This can leads to not knowing what we are truly ingesting.
Long story short, what your eating is not the only thing to consider when you take that bite.
