Found some awesome AI retouched footage regaurding the "Cannon" atomic bomb test earlier this afternoon. By supplying old A-bomb test footage into advanced AI neural networks we're able to see something closer to what it would have looked like to be present at the test, or at the very least seem to contain more information than the original black and white footage.
Not sure what cynical side of me likes watching these nuke test videos.. The destructive capabilities of these devices are insane. As much as I never want to see nuclear war on our planet part of me would love to see one of these go off in real life.. Chaulk it up to morbid curiosuity I guess?
