I've been donating blood for quite some time now. My aim is to donate blood every three (3) months since it's the standard duration to donate blood.
However, I was a bit disappointed back then because my grandma's operation was delayed for hours because of the blood that was supposed to arrive before the scheduled operation. Moreover, I said to myself that I will not donate anymore but later on, I realized that there are plenty of sick people who need blood and so, I decided to donate again.
I was sleeping during lunch break when my colleague woke me up to inform me that they will head to the entrance gate for blood donation. Fortunately, when they checked my blood pressure it was normal and I can proceed. It took 15 minutes to full the blood bag and spent another 10 minutes of rest and then ate my snack before we head back to our office.
