India Setting The Record By Winning The ICC U-19 World Cup For The Fourth Time Beating Australia In Final
Team India set history today (03-02-2018) in the finals of ICC Under-19 World Cup 2018 by winning the tournament for the fourth time by defeating Australia by 8 wickets. Earlier, India had won the U-19 World Cup in 2000, 2008 and 2012. Australia, batting first, gave India a target of 217 runs. The whole team of Australia was dismissed for 216 runs in 47.2 overs. India won the match with 11 overs remaining. Manjot Kalra scored 101 not out. BCCI has announced Rs 50 lakh to coach Rahul Dravid, 30-30 lakh to all members of the team and Rs 20 lakh to support staff. After the victory, Dravid said that the last 14 months of hard work brought the exact result all of us desired.
