Jōjakkō-ji Temple

If you ever have the chance to do a Temple/ Shrine Tour in Kyoto make sure to not miss Jōjakkō-ji Temple http://www.jojakko-ji.or.jp/ because of its heritage value. Check out their Webpage too before you go to learn about access information and opening times.

Jōjakkō-ji Temple Entrance and Temple

While Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Temple) is spectacular, I like this Temple for it's beautiful nature surrounding and the calmness you can experience if you walk around the temple. This temple has a Wikipedia Site in Japanese but not in English so you won't directly find it as a foreigner. I was taken there by a tourguide and I instantly loved the sight.
