Lakes can be quite extraordinary they hold beautiful nature and very lively wildlife with many species of birds who come to enjoy the natural foods of the lake and the peacefulness of the breeding grounds, we were driving along the coastline from Sydney heading back to Byron Bay when we decided to have a lunch break and pulled into Forster a small town situated near the Myall Lakes National Park, Mayall Lakes consist of three lakes within this huge National Park area the one we were near was called Two Mile Lake, a beautiful flat lake were you can try your hand at fishing, swimming, canoeing or kayaking also has many hiking trails and can camp lakeside. The environment and wildlife is very protected in this national park, I have heard it is one place you can see little penguins and mutton birds.
