Let me explain my thinking.
I've watched people pour years into building audiences on platforms they don't own. They create content every day, grow followers and then one algorithm change wipes their reach overnight. No warning. No explanation. Just gone.
I'm not doing that.
When I found Hive I started reading about how it actually works. Your content lives on a blockchain. Nobody can delete it. Nobody can shadowban you. And most importantly — you can actually earn from day one without needing a million followers or a brand deal.
That last part got my attention.
I'm a developer trying to figure out how to make the internet work for me directly. No middleman. No waiting for someone to approve my application. Just me, my content and a community that rewards real people.
Web3 is not perfect. Hive is not perfect. But it's the first platform I've used where the incentive actually makes sense — the better your content, the more you earn. Simple.
I'm still new here. Still learning how curation works, how communities work, how to grow properly. But I'd rather figure that out on a platform that pays me than spend another year posting for free somewhere else.
This is my bet. Let's see how it plays out. 🚀
