I went to Pokhara Nepal last september, it was my first visit. I've been to Nepal for couples of time but only to climb mountain in Everest region in Northeastern of Nepal, whereas Pokhara is in Annapurna region in north Nepal. I came here to visit the largest lake in Nepal - the Phewa lake. This is probably the most famous of the many lakes in Nepal but not necessarily the most beautiful. However, it is easily accessible and lies in the beautiful city of Pokhara. It is famed for the reflection of Mount Fishtail on its waters during clear days but i was unlucky during that time the sky is gloom with thick fog for days. The lake has a small island in the middle where the Taal Barahi Mandir Temple located.

It was my lucky day on my last day in Pokhara i managed to see the Mount Fishtail ( Macchapucchre as the Nepali call it)
I hope you like my entry about the Phewa lake till my next entry more about Pokhara, Nepal.
