Ama Dablam (6812m) is one of the most beautiful mountains in the world with pyramid style in shape. Ama Dablam located in Himalaya range of eastern Nepal. This is a climbed peak and mostly the climbers use its South- West ridge to ascend. The main peak is 6,812 metres , the lower western peak is 6,170 metres . For ascending this spectacular mountain, there will be typically established 3 camps along the ridge namely Camp I, Camp II and Camp III. Ama Dablam was first climbed in 1961 by Mike Gill (NZ), Barry Bishop (USA), Mike Ward (UK) and Wally Romanes (NZ) via the Southwest Ridge.
I took this photo of Mount Ama Dablam from Nagartsang hill(5800m) in Dingboche village(4410m), Khumbu himal Nepal during my acclimatization day for my Ama dablam expedition 2013 winter ascent. At the foot of the mountain is Yak grazing in Dingboche village.
