Hello everyone. In Fang Districtwhere I live, the majority of people are buddhists. Each village has its own temple, which is the center of religious activities and various traditions. Fang District therefore has many temples. Each temple has a unique, beautiful Lanna art style. Which is the tradition, art and culture of the people in this region.
In this post I share Wat Hat Samran, one of the many temples in Fang District, Chiang Mai Province. This temple is a small temple with not a lot of space. But the highlights of this temple are the various statue of giants and the 2-story Buddha image hall (viharn) inside the temple.
Each day, me and my wife send our son to school. We have to pass this temple every morning. Or if you have the opportunity to go to Fang District or travel through Fang District to go to Mae Ai District or Chiang Mai Province. You'll see various statue of giants and the buddha image hall (viharn) prominent on the side of the roadside (highway 107).
A few days ago I had the opportunity and free time to visit this temple. We parked our car in the parking lot inside the temple. Area the parking lot of this temple there are car rental with driver by local people too. You can car rental with driver from here to travel in this district.
This temple has entrance for vehicles 2 entrances and walk-in entrance 1 more entrance. Entrance for vehicles, both entrances do not have arches. But there are two lion statues on the wall between the left and right entrances.
The walk-in entrance will have an entrance arch. which is decorated with color gold stucco patterns and serpent statue on the entrance arch.
Near the entrance is a name plate of the temple.
The buddha image hall (viharn) of this temple is a 2-story buddha image hall (viharn), Decorated with color gold Lanna style stucco patterns. Looks prominent and beautiful. The entrance staircase is a staircase with a 3-headed serpent statue. But if there is no religious ceremony or tradition, This buddha image hall (viharn) is not open. So we didn't get to see the beautiful inside the buddha image hall (viharn).
There are many various sculptures in areas the temple. Especially around the buddha image hall (viharn) of the temple there are two large statues of giant and many statues of giant. And there are also many buddha statues in that area.

The temple's two-story bell tower is made of wood, the first floor has a drum and the second floor has a bell. And beside the bell tower there are many buddha statues.
Inside the temple there are also many pavilions. Several pavilions for sitting and relaxing.

All are the architecture, sculptures and the atmosphere in Wat Hat Samran. Even though this temple is a temple with a small area. But me and my wife like and enjoy this temple.
