Unwind on the silky white beach of Malcapuya. Malcapuya island is located in the southern coast of Coron. The boat ride from Coron mainland to Malcapuya island takes about 1.5 to two hours depending on how rough the waves are. The boat usually docks at the back of the island. It has a hill that offers a panaromic view of the whole beach as well as the nearby islands like Banana island and Bulog dos island.
A beach that has a long stretch of fine white sand with a row of coconut palm trees 🌴 and some big trees 🌳 that provides a cool shade from the sweltering heat of the sun 🌞 along with nipa huts and party tents. You can stay overnight they have nipa hut cottages or you can bring your own tent to set up.
There are water activities you can do at Malcapuya island like boat-pulled snorkeling, fish feeding, paddle boarding or take a dip into the clear and turquoise blue water. The vibrant coral reefs offers an excellent for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts and discover the beautiful marine life under the crystal clear water.
The water changes to aquamarine, turquoise and emerald and beneath lies a vibrant coral reef full of life and colorful where giants clams and species of clownfish live.
I was amazed by the plethora of beautiful limestone rock formations. I was glad while taking a pictures of the different unique rock formations while waves crashes through it.
You can buy fresh coconut and enjoy leisurely stroll along the shoreline and feel the warm wind kisses on your face and listen to the rustling sound of the sea waves or just lay on the hammock where you can have a full view of the gorgeous beachfront.
If you want tropical experience visit Malcapuya island. It's a must visit for anyone traveling to Coron, Palawan 😊
