As most of you know, yesterday was the first of April, also know as the April Fools Day. It's the day of pranking and getting pranked. The day of jokes and lies... Be the prankers one's parents, partner, classmates, colleagues from work or even the local news station.
I knew right after waking up in the morning that this day nobody shall be trusted. Especially the news... So when I read there was going to be a snowstorm the next day, my thoughts were: "Ah, the meteorologists are probably just kidding..." - they had forecasted around 15-20 degrees of warmth (which is also surprising) for the next week a couple of days prior!
Little did I know... it was not a prank
So when I peeked through the window today, I chuckled and shaked my head: "April Fools my ass!"
At one point me and my little one were on our way to his monthly check-up at the doc's. Every time his stroller got stuck in the snow was a moment I cursed in my thoughts: "It just couldn't be a joke, huh?" Luckilly nothing else but getting stuck in the snow a couple of times and slipping once happened and we're back at home happy and healthy.
I even took a couple of photos of the beauty I found in the snowy streets on our way back home.
