Hello everyone!
I've finished around 6 more watercolors, but unfortunately I've been too lazy to scan them, I need to figure out better settings, since last ones had too much contrast/exposure. I edited the above image to make it less glaring, but I should just find how to scan it better :)
These are some drawings I did last year but haven't gotten around to sharing them here.
The work in progress ^^ before the fine liner
I had a lot of fun painting these and I really love how the final page turned out. This is an A5 format, and each mini drawing is roughly 8cm×5cm. The whole page took me maybe 45min-1h to make (maybe less).
I love 's photos as a lot of them have unique lighting and colors. Also there is a lot of theme variety, something new every day :D I included the original photo links, as it's much better if you check them for comparison and don't forget to follow

This is my favorite ^^ It's simple, but elegant and I love nature. Also I tend to prefer mild and desaturated colors.
This was the first one I made. I was getting used to the tiny scale. I need to get a thinner brush, but I'm very picky about the brush texture. I like the smooth silicon ones, Never the glued brushes. I avoid those completely.
really likes this one :D It certainly stand out in the group. Also the original photo is incredible, I love night photos, but they're really hard to do right.

I added a bit more colors than in the reference. I like this new style: soft versus vibrant colors. I'm constantly experimenting and finding new techniques.
I love the strong perspective of this scene. White is hard to work with in watercolors, but not impossible.

I tried even more minimalism with this drawing. Just 2 or 3 colors total.

The reference has a fascinating color contrast of blue and oranges. After this painting I realized that I need to use the fineliner to add more details.

Limiting the artworks size is fun and forces you to get creative with how to represent an image. You need to look for the most important details and elements that make an image recognizable. Not every color has to be used to achieve an effect and atmosphere.
Which one is your favorite?
Thank you for checking out and the support! <3
