Krakow, city in Poland has one of the most beautiful old towns in Europe. The Main Square of it is huge, surrounded by beautiful historical buildings. Nowadays, there are a lot of cafes in front of them, perfect places to start a day. The morning was sunny although a bit cold.
Flocks of pigeons are kind of a trade mark of this place, and feeding them is one of the tourist attractions.
St. Mary's Basilica flanks one of the corners of the Square. It is a beautiful example of Gothic architecture.
The central part is dominated by the Cloth Hall, wonderfully decorated, Renesans style building, with souvenir shops inside and National gallery on the first floor.
St. Adalbert church is one of the oldest churches in Poland, its history goes back to 11th century, beginning of the Polish Romanesque architecture of the early Middle Ages.
The Main Square in Krakow is a place full of history, legends, pearls of architecture from various epochs, full of charm and perfect place for a walk. You can easily spend here few hours enjoying some special atmosphere. 🙂
