So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the second topic for this week, which is “PLANNING OR IMPULSIVE”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “ASKING FOR HELP”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us about their attitudes when it came to asking for help from other people. While some people enjoy being of help to others, it’s worth noting that many people find it hard to ask for it and even receive it when it's offered. This is something that prevails more and more in our modern world.
Many confessed that while they don’t enjoy it, they also know how to accept things as they are and ask for help when they need to, because in reality, no one is an island and at one time or another, everyone will need someone’s help to do something. It’s always going to happen. It was an enlightening topic, indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w213e1 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. For this author, he told us that asking for help is not something that he does often. While helping others comes easily to him, he finds it hard to ask for it. He does ask for help, but on rare occasions, because things do happen, and for him, he has always remembered people who helped him in the past.

However, she had learned that many times, being vocal about her needs is a surer way to get results than keeping them to herself and hoping that things work out.
