Children should wash their hands with warm water and liquid soap.
The bacteria are frequent and spread in schools and kindergartens during the fall and winter in particular, threatening children with gastrointestinal diseases and bronchitis, the German Society of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine said.
Proper handwashing protects children from diseases. For this purpose, children should wash their hands with warm water and liquid soap, taking into account the hands rubbing together until foam is formed. It is also important that the children donot neglect to clean the spaces between the fingers and under the nails as well as the wrist.
The children should then dry their hands with disposable wipes.
