If you are thinking about having the vacation in the Mediterranean, think about Cyprus - landscape with the massive history and the cultural heritage.
Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, after the Italian islands of Sicily and Sardinia. Nature is beautiful - blue water of the warm sea and the beautiful sky creates the special atmosphere.
Geopolitically, the island is subdivided into four main segments. Part of the territory belongs to Greece and part of it belongs to The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Talking about culture, Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots are sharing a lot in common in their culture but also have differences. For example, food looks similar (both cultures have suvlaki and hallouimi cheese). Both countries produce wine and the quality of it pretty good.
Interesting fact about Cyprus, do you know that in the foreign literature the island was presented in the Shakespeare's works? The huge part of Othello play was set on the island of Cyprus.
Definitely, if you are looking for the antistress vacation, you have to think about the Cypress: this beautiful land has everything you need to enjoy your summer time: fresh fruits, sea, culture heritage, wine and cheese and super friendly welcoming and smiling people who are enjoying their lives.
