Life is all about contributing and for that to happen, one must serve. No matter how great you become, you at one point in time will have to serve someone. It is one of the few laws about nature that most people do not pay attention to. There are countless millionaires and billionaires out there who will attest to this fact. A case in point is the story of Jack Ma, the CEO of Alibaba group. According to him, he was a teacher at some point. Which means he served people with knowledge. Many people want a way out of financial and health frustrations but they overlook this simple truth. There is an Akan adage that literally translates as “If you don’t see someone else’s work through, you will never see yours through”.

Through serving others, you get to learn and be learned from. You get to have people build trust in you. You get to exercise humility which is one virtue everyone looks for when associating with someone they’ve never met before. Serving others makes you impactful wherever you are and always know that the fact that you are serving someone doesn’t make you any less of a human. It only signifies how strong you are emotionally and intellectually. Serving people always opens doors of unimaginable opportunities for you.
Everyone needs someone so when the time comes, be prepared to serve for you never know where it might lead you.
