It is easy to point fingers at people when things go not as planned. It is easy to complain. It is easy to be irresponsible and have no plan for your future. These few reasons are why you are the problem. Not everyone has the courage to step up and admit their faults. Not everyone has the ability to ask for forgiveness. Not everyone shuts up and work through their problems but the few that do realize the ultimate truth which is “the solution to their problems lies within them”.
Problems will always be around. It doesn’t matter your financial status, there will always be a fresh one for you to deal with. The good news is some of the problems we face can be avoided entirely. In the book, “Rich Dad Poor Dad” written by Robert Kiyosaki, there is a vivid explanation made on behalf of this topic. It makes mention of assets (anything that brings money into your pocket) and liabilities (anything that takes money out of your pocket). Most people deal with a lot of liabilities they could have avoided in the first place. If you purchase a car, with your life savings, you are creating a problem for yourself by working everyday to make sure that car stays in good condition. That makes the car a problem (liability) for you. When you however use that car as a taxi, which means the car will be used to make money everyday and in the case of repairs, a portion of the money made can be used to repair it. This way, you have made an asset which would continue to add money into savings daily.

It is my hope that this generation learns these little tricks before they form unchangeable habits. Having liabilities is never a good thing. Imagine your life to be a number line where we have the negative side and the positive side with the zero mark in the middle.

For one to prosper in life or have assets, they must be within the zero and the positive numbers. If you are always found in the section between the zero and the negatives, it means you have a lot of liabilities at your disposal which is never a good thing.
