AN UPDATE TO MY WEDDING PROJECT
Making of Personalized Hangers
Ola everyone! Here's an update to my recent project slash commissioned work for a wedding.
As I have mentioned in my previous post, How I made a Wedding Seal | An Art Process | Art Blog # 8, a good friend of mine asked me to do calligraphy works for her wedding and one of which is to make personalized hangers for the bride and groom, and their bridesmaids and groomsmen.
So basically, the theme of their wedding is a combination of emerald green, gold, and earth brown. I've decided to use the first two colors for the names and dates to be written on the hanger.
I have used a MINISO ACRYLIC PAINTER (Dark Green) for the names of the people and an ARTLINE 900XF (Metallic Gold) marker for the wedding date which is on June 30, 2018.
It took me one sitting on this part of the project since like making a seal, it's a lot easier and it takes less time to make. The couple provided me with the list of the names to be written and the great advantage of using Miniso's acrylic painter is that you can erase it with a wet tissue if you make a mistake since it's a water-based marker. I've made a few mistakes in doing this because of the names not fitting right unto the area where it should be or the couple requested to change the names in their entourage.
I was also the one who provided the hangers for them as they requested me to buy everything that I needed for this project.

Well, there you have it. You may be thinking that I did not document how I did it but I just wrote everything directly on the wooden hangers with no draft or anything. I did a free-hand on it. In addition, I'm sharing this to you so that if you guys want to get married, this will be a good idea to have that personal touch not only for you but also for your entourage.
