Today I want to tell you, last Saturday, September 15, I had the pleasure of baptizing my nephew (now also godson) Mathias Nicoalejandro, that little ceremony was held in the main church of Villa de Cura, town in which we live.
This sacrament, the Catholic Church affirms, frees us from original sin and regenerates us as children of God, and is mainly constituted by the anointing of oil and the pouring of holy water on the child's forehead, an act with which the child is given the Welcome to the Christian life and in which the godparents commit ourselves to help the parents of the child to guide along this path of Christianity!

Hola amigos de esta gran comunidad, les envío un saludo y les agradezco que vengan y lean
Hoy quiero contarles, el pasado sábado 15 de septiembre, tuve la dicha de bautizar a mi sobrino (ahora también ahijado) Mathias Nicoalejandro, esa pequeña ceremonia se realizo en la iglesia matriz de Villa de Cura, pueblo en el cual vivimos.
Este sacramento, afirma la iglesia católica, nos libera del pecado original y nos regenera como hijos de Dios, y se constituye principalmente de la unción del aceite y el derramamiento de agua bendita sobre la frente del niño, acto con el cual se le da la bienvenida a la vida cristiana y en la cual los padrinos nos comprometemos a ayudar a los padres del niño a guiar por este camino del cristianismo!
