This was my first trip to Russia althougt I have learned Russian for 7 years. I was impressed by ancient and majestic architecture in there.
Church of the Resurrection was built on the place where Alexander the Great was died in late 1881 because of the wound by massacre. After a half-century of neglect, the church was restored and reopened in 1997.
