Climbing to the tops of Mount Lamlam in southern Micronesia is said to be the tallest mountain in the world, if you take into account the Marianna's Trench sea drop just offshore here.
The highest point of Guam is here at 1,334 feet. The peaks of this submerged island rise 37,820 feet above the floor of the Marianas Trench, the greatest ocean depth in the entire world!
This is my Sunday Purple Color Challenge photo submissions taken with my hand held Nikon while out exploring with my boys, cheers to adventure!
