I love all kind of artistic expressions. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and for most of my life i didn't like so much my city. You know how it is in the big cities, everybody running, long faces, not so much nature, buses and cars everywhere, stress is as common as smog...
I started appreciating my own city a lot more after a few years traveling, I went through a lot of cities in a lot of countries and never I found a city with so much to offer as Buenos Aires, It can sound like its because is my city but you would understand if you visit... you can find anything you are looking for any day of the week. There are tons of theatres, museums, live music, thouthens of bars, cultural centers with a lot of free workshops and courses. Yoga, acrobats, musicians, artesans on every park... just say what you wanna find and if you know how to look you would find it...
Just as an example. The first year after i finished paying for my house and i quit working as a slave i did weekly Yoga, drumming, tango, andinean music, luthier workshop, salsa, bachata, bike polo, went to free concerts, free museums and more... all for free... Critical mass (thousands of people riding bicycle together around the city) every month. Whent to the narture reserve on the Rio de la Plata, played weekly ping pong and pool on Cafe San Bernardo( a huge bar with about 10 pool, 10 ping pong tables and 3 foosballs... You get the idea... if you have time and youre looking to do things you can find a lot of options...
On this specific post i wanna share a few of the street art mural photos i took in a week going around the city with my bicycle... not knowing were i was going just luck or destiny, the next photos are the ones i like the most but if you wanna check more, im gonna leave a link to my facebook album with about 400 pictures...
You gonna see a lot of different styles, some amazing art and some not so impressive. I apologize for the photos quality, is not easy to get the right angle when you have cars parked in front of the mural or a tree, it's also not easy to get the best light...
I took all the photos with my cell phone or my gopro...
I'm not gonna describe the photos, there are a lot I wanna share. You can ask me for info on any specific one, maybe I can give some detail... Hope you enjoy them!
Im sorry guys but too many photos to touch with photoshop... the next ones are the crude result of the cell phone camera or the gopro... without any further improvement...
Full album with about 300 more...
