Hello, how are you? I just came back from vacation, a cozy one, and I’ve been tired after that. Being unproductive ruins everything I plan for the whole month. Today I recovered from the not-so-good things happen to me LOL. I thank my mother a lot, my mother who is really concern to me LOL.
So I force myself to be productive today and draw something. I was browsing through my gallery, and I saw these fried eggs I took a photo of before, and I wanted to draw them using oil pastel, so I did.
Materials I Used:
- Oil Pastel
- Paper
- Tissue
- Scrathing Tool
Craft Time!
First thing I do is to sketch the outline of the egg, it is okay if the sketch is not perfect, just go with the flow.
And then I add the base color of the egg, and yes, I like my egg toasted at the side.
Then I added the toast at the side using Burn Sienna. And then I added light blue as an accent color to the egg to make it more unique.
Then I use the shades of blue and purple as an undertone to the main color of the reference. I layer each color I added.
Now I layer those undertones with shades of gray.
The drawing is missing an intense shadow, so I added black to the shadow part to balance the color.
Then I added small shadows onto the eggs just to make a dimension to them.
Time to add the texture, I use my clay tool to do the scratching job. This makes texture and highlights at the same time.
This is what it looks like. I did just a little texture this time.
I ate eggs for my breakfast today LOL.
Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
