Hello, how are you? So I've been so stressed about all my polymer clay scraps, and I decided that since I bought my 3-layer foldable storage box, I am going to be organized with my things, LOL. I now feel more organized since I bought one. I felt more or less stressed since I bought it.
So I bought just one 24-grid organizer and thought all the scraps of polymer clay would fit in it, but I was wrong LOL. So I bought more of them, and I am going to show you how I fit all of them.
All the Polymer Clay Scraps
All the Polymer Clay Scraps
I like these old containers, but my problem is that the moment the clay touches each other, they stain each other with is such a hassle to remove every time I use them LOL.
White to Black:
I like to start from the shade of white to black. I knead everything first and then shape it into a ball shape, do everything the same to the other clay. I like to make it look more organized.
Light Yellow to Yellow:
I like to start with the lightest color, like yellow, to avoid staining while kneading each clay.
Light Orange To Orange:
Going to light orange, did the same on the yellow one: knead it first, then shape it into a ball, and I make sure to line them up from the lightest to the darkest shade.
For this part, my hand starts staining, so that is why starting with a lighter color is a good idea. I used to mess up before, so when I realized, yeah, I should do that! LOL.
Skin Color:
Before I start with the skin color, I wash my hands to clean because some staining in my hand starting to appear.
At this point, I am contemplating whether I should continue this or not, but I keep going LOL. This part is the combination of skin tone and pinkish color this one I use for the nose of gloom.
Red To Cool Red:
This one’s are staining my hand, so I gotta use disposable gloves for this part LOL. These are the cool and warm red colors.
Earth Tones Colors:
These earth tones are so soft, so I need to sandwich them into a piece of paper.
Green Shades Clay:
These are my favorites green these are soft, so it took me small time to condition and knead them.
Warm Blue Shade Clay:
Love the shades of blue here. I am still thinking about what I am going to use these shades of blue for.
Cool Warm Shades Clay:
I thought knead is not gonna end, for the final batch!
Putting Into The Grid Storage Box:
This one is the most satisfying part of the process. Lining everything clean.
Some of them are literally big but exactly fit, so it is good.
One grid storage full! Next!
Storing In 2nd Grid Storage Box:
There is one space on the first one, so I added that in so that everything will fit.
The red looks like it's struggling to fit, but I have no choice but to put it in LOL.
Then next the earth shades, green and blue.
And the remaining cool blue.
All My Clay Is Organized, Dust-Proofed!
Look at how the red is fighting for its life.
Final looks before they are closed.
For sure, this one is going to be a mess the time I am going to use again LOL. But at least they're not that messy anymore.
Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
