1982 and then to 32 in the year 1998.
The highest goal scorer in the world cup is Miroslav Klose of Germany with 16 goals and he is closely followed by Delima Ronaldo of Brazil with 15 goals.. Both players are no longer active players.
Brazil has won the most FIFA world cups trophy five (5) times, Closely followed by Germany and Italy with four (4) FIFA world cup trophy wins.
