Honestly, motherhood has taught me more than I ever expected, more than what I have ever heard or learn in like. One thing I’ve learned is that what a woman is facing in their home is different in each family and let me tell you this, the way a man treats the mother of their kids outside says so much about who they really are behind closed doors. We know life happens, People grow apart, Paths change, but none of that should ever be an excuse to put down the woman who is giving her all to raise your child every single day.
Being a mom is not as easy as we thought it would be before we enter it. It is exhausting, mentally draining, and emotional work that never really stops. The sleepless nights, the constant worrying, the little sacrifices nobody sees, it all adds up. And when someone adds disrespect on top of that? It just makes everything heavier, especially for the kids who notice more than we think.
I’ve realized that kids need to see respect, even if their parents don’t see eye to eye. You can disagree, take different paths, or have your own struggles, but showing respect toward one another teaches more than words ever could. It shows kids what maturity looks like, what self-control looks like, and what it means to be kind even when it’s hard.
I’m far from perfect. I mess up, I get frustrated, I lose my patience. But I know what it means to love unconditionally, to give your all even when you’re tired or overwhelmed. And I want my kids to see that life isn’t always easy, but people can still treat each other with dignity without being insultive.
I used to look at men who sees their wife as someone below them, disrespect them at any given chance, talk down to them as if they are nothing and when the energy is returned, they turn the woman to a bad person but the men are always right. And mind you, everything we are doing, kids are watching and learning
Honestly, respect matters no matter who we are. It is not just for appearances, not just for rules, but because it teaches children how to be human, how to love, how to care, and how to hold themselves and others accountable in a way that actually matters. That lesson alone actually worth every struggle, every tear and every sleepless night.
Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day
