To be honest, I’ve never really thought about quitting Hive. The only time I stayed away for long was when my phone got spoiled, and it became difficult for me to stay active here. If not for that, I would have continued posting and engaging like usual.
When my phone stopped working, I felt bad because Hive had already become part of my daily life. I enjoyed checking people’s posts, and sharing my own experiences too. Suddenly being offline made me realize how much I actually liked being here.
There are people who quit because of low engagement or because things don’t go the way they expected, and honestly, I understand them. Sometimes you put effort into a post and the outcome is disappointing. It happens to almost everyone on Hive at some point. But personally, that never made me feel like leaving completely.
For me, Hive is not only about rewards. I enjoy the connections, the different stories people share, and the opportunity to express myself freely. I’ve also learned a lot since joining this platform. Reading other people’s content has helped me improve in many ways, especially in writing and communicating with others.
During the time I was away, I actually missed Hive more than I expected. Even though I couldn’t post because of my phone issue, I still thought about coming back. That alone made me realize that I genuinely enjoy being part of this community.
Life can sometimes interrupt our plans. Phones can get damaged, finances may not be stable, or personal problems may come up. These things happen. Being inactive for a while does not always mean someone has lost interest. In my own case, it was simply a situation I could not control.
Since I was back, I’m happy to continue my journey here. I may not be the biggest creator on Hive, but I appreciate the little progress I’ve made and the people I’ve met along the way. Every post, comment, and interaction means something.
So, have I ever wanted to quit Hive? Honestly, no. I was only away because my phone got spoiled, not because I stopped loving the platform.
Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day
