Greetings friends 馃憢 I come with great pleasure to share my first publication in this community "Picture A Day" (hive-127238), are photographs of a place I met on my recent visit to the city of San Cristobal, I hope you like it.
The black-yellow traffic circle is a monument located in a public space in the city of San Crist贸bal, T谩chira state, Venezuela. It is a traffic circle (circular square where several streets or avenues converge) located at the intersection of Avenue 19 de April and Avenue Carabobo.
This traffic circle was inaugurated in 2015 by Governor Jos茅 Gregorio Vielma Mora, as a tribute to the sporting sentiment and history of the club, and in December 2020 it was reopened after a renovation.
This space is an important landmark in the city and the traffic circle is known for its design in the shape of a soccer ball and for its yellow and black color, which are the colors of the Deportivo T谩chira soccer team, and has become a meeting, celebration and recreation place for the inhabitants of San Crist贸bal and Deportivo T谩chira fans.
The traffic circle black-yellow has a very striking sculpture of an airplane that symbolizes the permanent promotion of the team, ten plaques that represent each championship that Deportivo T谩chira has won in the Venezuelan soccer league (the last championship was obtained in 2023, after beating Caracas in the final), a statue of the black-yellow fan, a statue of William M茅ndez in his playing days, a sculpture of R贸mulo Gallegos, a playground and bio-healthy equipment.
Because of all these elements, The black-yellow traffic circle is a place that every visitor to the city of San Cristobal should know.
Thank you very much and see you next time 馃憢
