I'm nearing the end, so here's a progress update. I'm past the ugly phase and can see my way ahead to the end goal. Maybe I'll have it finished today, it's hard to say, there are many fine little areas to work on. At this point, I think you should have an idea of where I am going with this.

For this painting I've restricted myself to four colours and that excludes white. I've worked with a bit more of a fatter medium for this painting as I'm experimenting with my mixes while I search for the optimal approach to executing the paintings with a minimum of fuss.
