This weekend I started experimenting with a material that I had not wanted to use until now, plastic or vinyl.
I had at home an envelope with a sheet set that had recently been given to my son and obviously I didn't want to throw it away, typical of a recycler 😁 hahaha.
Well here is my new project, a Transparent Cosmetic Holder, I hope you like it, I loved it!

Este fin de semana me puse a experimentar con un material que hasta ahora no había querido usar, el plástico o vinil.
Tenía en casa un sobre dónde venía un juego de sabana que hace poco le habían regalado a mi hijo y que obviamente no quise botar, típico de una recicladora 😁 jajaja
Pues aquí está mi nuevo proyecto, un Porta cosméticos Transparente, espero sea de tu agrado, a mí me encantó

Ideal para utilizarlo cuando vas de viajes, vacaciones o simplemente para llevar todos tus líquidos sin temor que se derramen.

- Transparent vinyl sheet 25 x 25 cm.
- Fabric bias 1 m
- Thread
- Zipper or zipper
- Clips

With the materials ready and ready, we start
Con los materiales listos y dispuestos, comenzamos
With the sheet cut to size, we place the fabric bias at one end, it is worth noting that I made this bias myself and used the pins because the pins can damage the plastic.
Con la lámina cortada a medida, colocamos en un extremo el sesgo de tela, vale acotar que yo misma fabrique este sesgo y utilicé las pincitas ya que los alfileres pueden dañar el plástico
Now it is time to place the zipper.
Here I had to put pins because everything was moving and I could not sew.
Ahora es momento de colocar el cierre o cremallera
Aquí si tuve que colocar alfileres porque todo se movía y no lograba coser
With the zipper ready, I now cut off the excess to sew the bias binding.
Con el cierre listo, ahora corto los sobrantes para coser el sesgo
Once again I make use of my tweezers (I really love them 😍).
Nuevamente hago uso de mis pincitas (realmente las amo 😍)
I added a beautiful detail to the closure
Le coloque al cierre un bello detalle

This is how my new Transparent Cosmetic Holder was finished, ideal to carry any product without fear of spilling.

Así quedó terminado mi nuevo Porta cosméticos Transparente, ideal para llevar cualquier producto sin temor a derramarse.
Some final recommendations to take into account when working with this type of material are:
- Lengthen the straight stitch
- Use rulers to mark and make better cuts.
- Do not use pins, use pins or clips.
Algunas recomendaciones finales a tomar en cuenta para trabajar con este tipo de material son:
- Alarga la puntada recta
- Utiliza unas reglas para marcar y hacer mejores cortes
- No uses alfileres, utiliza las pincitas o en su defecto clips.
