Since I stayed at home, I rarely buy food or drinks outside for two reasons;
First, I find it expensive considering I no longer have a job. The guilt feelings in me spending my husband's money. Second, there aren't many choices here in our neighborhood, not unless I visit the nearest mall.
So the other day, with the striking hot weather and my son Caleb was sleeping, I decided to make my own version of matcha.
I intentionally bought this borosilicate glass so I could still have a feeling that my drink was ordered, lol. Back to the drinks, I had a pack of Lipton matches bought by my husband the last time he was home.
I had been keeping this for the past five months as I don't like it. He bought three packs and I gave the two to my mother in-law. However, since the crazy spike of gasoline, Greek yogurt isn't available in all convenience stores here. Perhaps no delivery at all so I could not make smoothies.
Leaving with no choice, so came to a point why not try?
For the milk, I used this.
And here it is.
Since it was my first time, it ended up tasting more milk than matcha. So I made a mental note to add two sachets next time.
Thus, I enjoyed my drinks since Caleb is sleeping soundly. I decided to turn on our air conditioner when he takes a nap at day time so he would be comfortable.
Yet after receiving our electric bill today, I felt like I will be having a fever. I just console myself thinking paying electric bill is far better than hospital bills.
What do you think?
