Hello everyone! I'm so glad to finally have an account on Steemit. It's about time we moved away from YouTube and Facebook, because we have been getting ripped off for too long! The content I've read on this site so far has been incredible to say the least, and I'm excited to get in on the action!
Anyways, my name is Isaiah! Nice to meet you.
Here's some things about me:
I'm currently 20 years old and I was born and raised vegan along with my 6 younger siblings.
I attend Cleveland State University. I'm currently trying to get a bachelors degree in Computer Science. Also GO CAVS! (Warriors blew a 3-1 lead).
About 2 years ago, I became incredibly interested in politics because of Bernie Sanders. I even volunteered for his campaign! I was a proud "Democratic Socialist".
However after Bernie lost the primary, my political views started to shift... I began watching videos of Ben Shapiro, Ron Paul, That Guy T, Julie Borowski, and many others. This is what got me to see the flaws in Bernie Sanders' ideas. It was very difficult, but after a few months I was a libertarian. It's been an amazing experience. I am currently the secretary for my college's anti big-government club, Turning Point USA.
I also make YouTube videos on my channel called "The Libertarian Vegan". I promote the ideas of liberty, freedom, and capitalism in a community full of leftists.
I'm also very interested in stocks and cryptocurrency. I spend about 3 hours a day researching and trading. It's cool to see so many like-minded people on a single site. I'm so excited to be with you all on this journey! I truly believe we've found a gold mine.
