Is "equality" used by socialists for political expediency in an attempt to make their agenda more palatable to the masses?
I ask because "from each according to ability, to each according to need" has NOTHING to do with "equality".
Some will work more.
Others will get more.
Oh, and it won't work anyway.
People's naive faith in top-down social engineering has probably been responsible for more suffering and death than anything else in history (save for "natural evil" - disease, disasters, etc.)
