2 John 1:5 - But permit me a reminder, friends, and this is not a new commandment but simply a repetition of our original and basic charter: that we love each other.
2 John 1:6 - Love means following his commandments, and his unifying commandment is that you conduct your lives in love. This is the first thing you heard, and nothing has changed.
God admonishes us all to sincerely exercise love towards one another. Love is the most important thing. Love has the power to change anything. The world would be a better place if we all learned to love each other. Enough of the hate game; come to think of it, of what good is it to hate someone? What kind of joy do you derive when you perpetrate evil against you fellow human?
People have done a lot of evil to their fellow human beings and this makes me to shed tears. Some pretend to love you when you are around but the moment you leave, they plot ways to harm you. It is not supposed to be so. We ought to bear each other's burden; that's the purpose of living.
You find someone in an helpless situation, you render the help the can instead of behaving like those men who walked pass the injured man by the roadside. You find someone who can't afford himself a good meal and you have the capacity to do that and then you do it willingly. That's love!
Love is more of a verb than a noun!
Love is all about action and doing. But many seem to profess love than actually acting it. If you say you love someone than you've got to prove it.
Let's learn from God! He had one son and he gave it out willingly. Greater love had no man that a man laid down his life for his friends. This is what is called love. I ain't proposing that you go die for someone but if you choose to, it's okay.
Let love lead. Let us all show agape and true love to each other cause in the end, we won't be judged by how many cars we had or how much money we acquired but the lives we affected through our act of love. Show someone love today!
Enjoy your day!
