This stall has no names or any fancy sign board on it. So if you were to find from Google maps, try look for Kedai Kopi Ji Tiau Loh. You can see the restaurant is inside the picture, which means the stall is just opposite of it.
Feels good to be back home, my hometown which is Kedah. Time to bring around my boyfriend and his best friend/colleague who happens to be my friend from my hometown as well, small world right?
Even though the weather is damn hot, there are huge umbrellas prepared by them for cover. My boyfriend loves to eat outdoor meals like this, because open air makes him feel more relaxed.
So then I brought him to this Kuay Teow Soup. It's only RM4 for a bowl, you definitely can't find this price in city areas like PJ or KL. This is one of the main advantage of Alor Setar's food, cheap and tasty, my boyfriend agreed on this.
I have eaten this for many times since I was a kid. This stall has been operating since long time ago and I don't recall how many years already. My boyfriend will be the judge this time, he gives 8/10 for this food, with the price over quality. There isn't alot Ajinomoto's that you normally will taste especially noodle soup foods, which makes you really thirsty after consuming. Beside this kuay teow stall there's another stall serving small foods like Currypuffs, and cooling beverages such as coconut water. It's really nice to try! Seats are limited though, that's the only downside I can think of.
