Normally I have date night with my love every Saturday, but had to make an exception because one of my best friend just came to KL from Ipoh, she has to go back on Sunday. So I had to ditch my boyfriend for her, hahah.
Sri Petaling is a place that is always crowded, so you will have difficulties finding parking. Most of the people there are double parking their cars, my friends ask me to do the same thing, but I disobeyed them because I don’t really like to enjoy my food halfway and get honked to move my car. Luckily, there’s a car park complex over there requires ticket, the lift there is malfunctioning so you have to take the stairs instead. We walked for several minutes to reach the Korean BBQ Restaurant.
Because of that, we are late for our reservation that was supposed to be 7PM. Our seat has been given to those who are queuing, so we have no choice but to queue as well. Luckily for us, we got our seats just after 30 minutes of waiting.
So this is the place, Mi Na Rae Korean BBQ. If I send this photo to someone on Whatsapp telling them I’m at Korea enjoying Korean food, I think they will fall for this trick. The environment setup is totally authentically Korean style, they even play Korean drama on the television. You are required to take off your shoes for the culture that the Korean follows, pretty much explained because the restaurant owner is also a Korean. One thing I really dislike is that you have to sit with your legs crossed. Your butt and legs will start to ache once you sit a little longer, or maybe it’s me only…
These are the side dishes, with my favorite being the Kimchi. The side dishes are really small in terms of size, but luckily it can be refilled without limit. All of us are really hungry, we finished the side dishes swiftly and refilled for 3 times before our main dishes’ arrival.
A combination of Pork and Squid. I can’t remember the original Korean name, apologies for that. We don’t have to cook ourselves in this BBQ restaurant, which is quite boring for me to wait for the food to arrive. But the advantage is that the environment doesn’t get smoky and full of BBQ smell, and also the we won’t have the chance of eating uncooked meat, the three of us are not really good in cooking though.
My comment and thoughts for this restaurant, it’s quite satisfying in terms of their service. The boss and staff is pretty friendly. My personal rating for this restaurant will be given 7/10, if there are more food choices I will probably give more, it’s quite limited though. With the price being RM65 for 3 pax, I guess I have no rights to demand more as this is not a buffet restaurant anyway.
