A rather busy month. Had to travel all the way to Penang AGAIN with my colleagues and boss to give a seminar to gain customer's awareness about the product, and also to increase sales. Normally I have this type of seminar every month at least once. I have been to Melaka and Johor last few months. It is also a ONE DAY TRIP, meaning after doing all the stuff we have to travel back to KL without staying over there, it's quite a rush.
I woke up 5am yesterday just to prepare everything that is needed. Everyone arrived at office and we took off 7am. We didn't have breakfast because we plan have it there, recommended by boss. Luckily I bought a few bread so I ate in the car a little bit while my boss drives.
We reached Penang at about 11am, our boss took us to Sri Ananda Bahwan Restaurant. I wonder what's so special about this restaurant because he rather starve all the way to Penang for this breakfast session, he is buying so I couldn't complain much. He says that he used to come here for breakfast last time when he was staying at Penang (He's a Korean by the way, Penang is the first place he stayed when came to work in Malaysia).
The special part about this is not the naans but the curry. It's really different from KL. Even though there's a branch at KL but somehow it felt different. It's quite spicy and to be honest I'm very good at eating spicy foods, so please beware for normal people. "I'm not normal"
RM67.50 for my boss, my manager and me only. Just breakfast only and my stomach is fully occupied, I guess I'm skipping lunch for this time for this day. Price is still quite fair for me, so for those who are visiting Penang, you can try this as one of your stop for breakfast. It's located between Batu Ferringhi and Georgetown. My rating for this restaurant wil be 7/10
