This is just for fun since I walked past it in Singapore. My idea of reading zodiacs is out of curiosity and light entertainment then forget about.
Like the Western Zodiacs, the Chinese also has 12 signs, however instead of 12 signs over 12 months, they have 12 signs over 12 years.
There are a lot of interesting superstitions and beliefs that goes with these, what I like about Singapore is how much they decorate shops, streets, anything with the Zodiacs during this time of the year.
On February 16th we will leave behind the year of the Rooster and enter the year of the dog. With that people have their own beliefs on what kind of year they’ll have based on their own sign along with their compatibility with the sign of the dog.
I walked past this recently and thought it was interesting - hopefully readable here.
There are years listed under each sign to let you know which zodiac is yours. However if you’re born around January/February it’s best to check properly which one is yours. This is due to Chinese New Year following the moon calendar - not the Western calendar. Here goes:
Hopefully you can zoom in to see the text. The Dog.
