These days I have been thinking that a cup of coffee is never missing from my table and it is almost a fixed object on it, which is why this time I wanted to make a glass rest, cup holder, cup holder or however you want to know it that I like. It will serve to place my cup and at the same time decorate my work space.
We can get the materials that I used to make it in any store in our city and they are low cost and it is also very easy to make. These cup holders are very cute and you can make them in the shapes you prefer and adapt them to the size of your cup, glass, bottles, etc, etc.

¡Holaaaaa, holaaa! Qué tal amigos creadores. A veces queremos decorar nuestros espacios de trabajo y nos comemos la cabeza pensando qué hacer para que se vea bien coqueto. En estos días he estado pensando que en mi mesa nunca falta una taza de café y es casi un objeto fijo en ella, es por ello que esta vez quise realizar un reposa vaso, porta taza, posa taza o cómo quiera que lo conozcas que me servirá para colocar mi tasa y a la vez decorar mi espacio de trabajo.
Los materiales que utilicé para realizarlo lo podemos conseguir en cualquier comercio de nuestra ciudad y son de bajo costo y además es muy fácil de elaborar. Estos reposa tasas son muy lindos y puedes realizarlos de las figuras que prefieras y adaptarlos al tamaño de tu tasa, vaso, botellines, etc, etc.

STEP BY STEP // PASO A PASO
To make this cup rest, the first thing we will do is remove all the necessary parts to assemble it. This time it is a kitten. I made the pattern in recycled cardboard from a cereal box to facilitate the drawing and save it to make other cup holders.
We place all the pieces in the foamis of the colors selected for each one. For the body, the head and the legs of the kitten I used gray foami; for the muzzle black foami; white foam for the ears; and for the bow, lilac and pink frosted foami.
Para realizar este reposa taza lo primero que haremos será sacar todas las piezas necesarias para armarlo. Esta vez se trata de un gatito. El patrón lo realicé en cartón reciclado de una caja de cereal para facilitar l trazado y guardarlo para realizar otros reposa vasos.
Colocamos todas las piezas en los foamis de los colores seleccionados para cada una. Para el cuerpo, la cabeza y las patas del gatito utilicé foami gris; para el hocico foami negro; para las orejas foami blanco; y para el lazo, foami escarchado lila y rosado.
Once marked we proceed to cut out all the pieces.
Una vez marcadas procedemos a recortar todas las piezas.
To highlight the figure of the kitten we will make a shading around the entire contour of the head, body and legs. With an angular brush wet with water, we wet the tip with cold black paint and go over the entire contour.
Para resaltar la figura del gatito realizaremos un sombreado alrededor de todo el contorno de la cabeza, el cuerpo y las patas. Con un pincel angular húmedo con agua mojamos la punta con pintura al frío color negro y pasamos por todo el contorno.
Now with the height toothpick we make the spots and shapes that characterize a cat on each piece. We will also do this on the head, body and legs.
Ahora con el palillo de altura realizamos en cada pieza las manchas y las formas que caracterizan a un gato. Esto lo haremos también en la cabeza, el cuerpo y las patas.
With the liner brush and the black cold paint, we fill in all the spots we make and let it dry.
Con el pincel liner y la pintura al frío negra, rellenamos todas las manchas que realizamos y dejamos secar.
In the muzzle piece we are going to shade using an orange marker and then with the height stick we draw the cat's mouth and whiskers and with the black gel pencil we draw the lines that we previously made with the height stick.
En la pieza del hocico vamos a sombrear utilizando un marcador naranja y luego con el palillo de altura dibujamos la boca y los bigotes del gato y con el lápiz de gel negro trazamos las líneas que anteriormente realizamos con el palillo de altura.
With a bit of liquid silicone, we place the nose to complete the muzzle.
Con un poco de silicón líquido, colocamos la nariz para completar el hocico.
With the toothpick we trace the eyes and then fill in with black cold paint using the liner brush and with the black gel pencil we draw the eyebrows and eyelashes.
Con el palillo trazamos los ojos y luego rellenamos con pintura al frío negra utilizando el pincel liner y con el lápiz de gel negro dibujamos las cejas y las pestañas.
We take the piece of the muzzle and paste it with a little liquid silicone on the head and with white paint and the liner brush we make the detail in the cat's eyes and nose.
Tomamos la pieza del hocico y la pegamos con un poco de silicón líquido en la cabeza y con pintura blanca y el pincel liner realizamos el detalle en los ojos y nariz del gato.
And to finish the face we place the pieces of the ears with silicone.
Y para terminar la carita colocamos las piezas de las orejas con silicón.
Now we are going to make a piece of cardboard to join the body and the head so that we can obtain a flexible head. We fold this piece in half and glue one half to the body and the other to the head.
Ahora vamos a realizar una pieza en cartón para unir el cuerpo y la cabeza de manera que podamos obtener una cabeza flexible. Esta pieza la doblamos a la mitad y pegamos una mitad al cuerpo y la otra a la cabeza.
We also add a bit of silicone to the upper part of the legs and place them below the head on each side of the muzzle so that we have a kitten lying down.
Igualmente agregamos un poco de silicón el la parte superior de las patitas y las colocamos por debajo de la cabeza a cada lado del hocico de manera que nos quede un gatito acostado.
To shape the bow, we will make a fold in the middle and place a silicone point with the gun, then we will make two more on the sides and also place a silicone point and keep pressing until it dries.
Para darle forma al lazo, haremos un doblez por el medio y colocamos un punto de silicón con la pistola, luego realizamos dos más a los laterales e igualmente colocamos un punto de silicón y mantenemos presionado hasta que seque.
And with a strip we surround the center of the loop and stick with a silicone dot. We cut off the excess.
Y con una tira rodeamos el centro del lazo y pegamos con un punto de silicón. Cortamos el exceso.
Then we glue it in the center of the face and between the two legs, placing a silicone dot on each side.
Luego lo pegamos en el centro de la cara y entre las dos patas colocando un punto de silicón en cada lado.
And in this way we have a cute cup holder in the shape of a kitten to decorate our work space and at the same time place our drinks. It is very easy to make and with few materials.
