...not literally, but it's beginning to feel like the steep mountains are never-ending. Thought I was going to be transported to some other planet by the Discovery, but of course, this machine could not do it.
I feel like it, though, with these niggles not wanting to disappear!
To add insult to injury, following two long days of scans, I ended my week digging up dates for the tax consultant to finalize pre- and post-death tax liabilities for my hubby. A lot to do with the B&B that we built up from scratch, bittersweet memories of a time gone by!
My brother and sister-in-law's two sausages always manage to put a smile on my face: Crusoe, the old gent who had to walk around with a cone for a while after his eye surgery, and Lily, the cheeky little girl who wants all the attention. Both of them instinctively know when anyone is sick in the house, and come and lie very close to one.
Here they're both curled up under blankets full of holes, hiding their toys beneath them, then digging them out to play with!
The sunrays are trying to come out on a cloudy day, a reminder that sunny days are on the way, and to pull myself together! I will soon be back in action here and catch up with what you've all been busy with.
