HONEYCOMB straight from the HIVE made by very Bizzy Bees; can you imagine just how much nectar they have to collect from flowers to produce this HONEYCOMB?
Ever looked at how HONEYCOMB cells are perfectly hexagonal? How amazing is nature!
Of course these waxy cells are built in the HIVE to protect the bees' larvae and for storing HONEY and pollen.
Busy Bee collecting nectar from the Bulbinella flowers.
I do believe this is the time that we need to get just as busy as those bees and get working here in our HIVE as cryptos is the future.
The cost of this pandemic has not only been human casualties but also economic casualties and we have to start thinking outside the box from here on.
Hunting down the letter H made me realise just how many good things start with the letter H!
HOPE, HAPPINESS, HONOUR, HEALTH, HELP, HOME
Never give up on HOPE is foremost in my mind tonight; I'd lost HOPE that my son would make it back HOME before end of June.
He'd been in Russia for just on four months, was due to fly back a month ago but then Russia had a lockdown and so did South Africa, and there was no way out.
Repatriation flights were being arranged from other countries but none from Russia and he couldn't get a flight out to any of those countries but even if he could, the cost would be totally out of our reach!
Then a miracle HAPPENED as our Embassy arranged a flight from Russia and despite some HICCUPS and last minute dramas, my son is back on SA soil tonight in a very nice quarantine facility arranged by our Embassy and I am truly thankful to them for this!
The consulate had sent me an email when I first enquired and ended her email with these words which I now believe:
And this too shall pass.
This mother HEN is very HAPPY that her son will soon be HOME!
HUSBAND
I've been blessed with having the love of my life, my HUSBAND, by my side for many moons through thick and thin. I also call him my HUBBY or my HONEY, although he can't eat HONEY as he's been living with Diabetes since he was a tiny little tot of only 7! Still looking good not so, even though he will soon be reaching a big milestone!
HOLE
A very different kind of HOLE here; it's actually one that was blasted into the mountain to make way for a road. This HOLE in the wall is at the majestic Cogmanskloof Pass between the towns of Ashton and Montagu in the Western Cape.
There were roadworks on when we were traveling through here.
HIBISCUS
I cannot forget about #alwaysaflower now can I!
Gorgeous HIBISCUS does very well here in our subtropical climate and comes in all the colours of the rainbow!
And so I've come to the end, well almost, for this week's
Alphabet Hunt Letter H hosted by the lovely , and I will say goodbye to the H's with...
HOKKAIDO PUMPKIN
I kept the seeds and we now have some healthy plants that are starting to flower, so I'm hoping we'll soon be able to harvest our very own Hokkaido Pumpkin as lockdown taught me the importance of becoming self-sustainable!
This gorgeous pumpkin/squash makes its appearance in the green grocers every autumn, is really delicious and can be cooked or baked with the skin on.
Hope you enjoyed this selection and I'm looking forward to seeing which H's everyone's coming up with!
Thank you for stopping by
